Our partner works with local farmers in Central Oregon who've been perfecting their craft for generations. The Extraction Process: From Plant to Powerhouse

Here's how we transform raw hemp into the distillate that powers Breakthrough and our other products:

Tested multiple times

In the NOVA universe, we don't just test our final products—we test everything, everywhere, all at once. Every ingredient gets tested multiple times throughout its journey from seed to supplement.

1. Seed Testing

Seeds are tested rigorously for genetics and potencies to ensure only the finest hemp is grown.

2. Growing Process Quality Control

Plants are monitored to ensure high cannabinoid levels and compliance with all regulations for contaminants, heavy metals, and pesticides.

3. Post-Harvest Testing

Final cannabinoid levels are verified and materials are tested to confirm they're contaminant-free.

4. Extraction Testing

Oil is tested before and after distillation using ultralow-temperature ethanol.

5. Formulation Testing

The distillate is tested again when formulated with D-ribose and DehydraTECH™ technology for Breakthrough.

6. Final Product Testing

For Lift Off, D8 THC and THC-V are tested before formulation, with THC-V getting an extra test when attached to baker's sugar.

Bottom line: All cannabinoid extracts are tested a minimum of six times throughout their "lifespan" before they make it into final NOVA products. (The full product formulas are tested 10 times!)

Quality Control That Never Stops

Before we even start manufacturing, every ingredient supplier (PeakO2®, Rhodiolife®, DehydraTECH™) must provide full certifications and testing results on their exact ingredient batch. Then we test each compound when it arrives at our facility. Everything stays in quarantine until testing is complete—that's true cGMP in action.

Once products are finished, they're sent to third-party labs for cannabinoid, heavy metal and pesticide testing. Breakthrough goes above and beyond with NSF Certified for Sport certification. Here, transparency isn't a buzzword—it's how we operate.
